1. Moving On

When the moon walks slowly across the sky
When I see you sleeping there
When it's late and I'm still wide awake
In the morning will I have a song for you

When I've gotten old and my voice is broke
When I cannot sit up straight
As my days on this Earth wind to an end
I know you'll be there next to me

Winter and summer pass again
We've moved now a few different times
What house we will have in 2 years
I hope it's one we both can love

But if we never agreed on anything
If each decision was a argument
I would still stand by you
I've learned the wisdom of consistency

So as the stars sit gently in the sky
On a windswept night like this one
I have enough strength to write a song
And to go on from here into all the years to come
